Thursday night and 2 teams looking to clinch.

Senators @ Penguins 7p.m. - The Sens already have one foot out the door and could very well exit the playoff party tonight. Mellon will be rocking so Ottawa will likely be playing against 7 skaters in the form of a rowdy crowd there to help the defending champs along. Goaltending for the Senators will obviously be the key to maybe forcing a game 6. The Sens scored 6 goals in the 2 games at home but gave up 11. It is imperative that Elliot or Leclaire have a stellar game in order for this series to go any further.

Philadelphia @ New Jersey 7p.m. - The Devils have come back from down 3-1 before. Their chances look pretty good to at least get to a Game 6 back in the City Of Brotherly Love. Simon Gagane and Jeff Carter will both be out of the lineup for the Flyers tonight. Brodeur played really well at the beginning of Game 4 and then the wheels came off. He surrendered 2 goals in the 2nd and another 2 in the 3rd as the Flyers skated to a 4-1 victory. The Carcillo goal was a little soft but Briere beat him with a blast from the wing and Jeff Carter scored twice with the man advantage. Devils need some vintage Marty to stay alive.

Chicago @ Nashville 8:30p.m. - Can the Preds take both games at home and go back to the Windy City with a chance to clinch? I will ping on the goaltending again. This will come down to Niemi vs. Rinne. Through 3 games Rinne has a GAA under 1.50 and his save % is a ridiculous .953. Chicago could be making an early playoff exit after really high expectations that included a trip to the Finals. Legwand was a man possesed in Game 3 for Nashville. 1G, 2A and a +3. Need to see some scoring lines like that for a select few Blackhawks or they are in trouble.

Colorado @ San Jose 10:30 p.m. - HP Pavilion will be will be blaring the Jaws theme (We're gonna need a bigger boat!!!) as the Sharks play a pivotal game at home looking to go up 3-2 in the series. No Mueller or Hejduk for the Avs as both are being held out of the lineup with injuries. 3 straight OT games, throw in the Game 1 and this has been a great series thus far. All games decided by 1 goal. #1 seed vs. #8 seed my ass. This should be another dandy and another late night for me.
